This would be our last lab.

Previously, we have studied two map suites - the one provided by ArcGIS and the one provided by Google Maps. Both have their own advantages. In addition, we have learnt a common approach to using the various APIs - parsing JSON packets.

All of this brought us one step closer to creating our own complete LBS application, but the most basic and essential thing is that we need to get the user's geographical location through our application - otherwise, all the data display and information presentation for an LBS application will be meaningless. Today, we will be looking at ways to get the user's location in an Android application.
